Perhaps your observation is true but each person has to travel the road they were meant to travel, even if it takes them to the same place. Some are long and winded, some are shorter....
Nuboy & Fancy, thanks for commenting, but I've never heard of Zeno until today, so I think I'll opt out of the philosophy discussion ;)
Prag - If I would have taken it from somewhere, I would have stated my source. I'm glad you liked it. :)
Frumgirl - True. I look at people in different situations, like rebellious teenagers, or people falling in love, and I think 'don't they know it's just the same story over and over again? Millions of people have gone through these exact emotions and millions more will.' But the truth is that to each person it's their own reality and their own experience and they each have to tread their own path. That's what it means to be alive.
This is certainly true in many cases. Unless there is trauma affiliated with the past, people do tend to find their way back, but ultimately different than those that never strayed.
Yes, that's true. But even many for whom there is trauma affiliated with the past still come back. The gravitational pull of home is usually stronger than anything else.

Some may think they are in charge of destination since they are in the pilot seat, but all get to realize that its set on auto pilot.
Bravo! You spoke to my lonely heart
Glad to be of service. :)
